Mission of the Church
As a loving fellowship composed of regenerate, baptized believers in Christ, this church exists by the grace of God alone and for the glory of God alone, which shall be the ultimate test and purpose of all our activities. Our chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We will seek to glorify God by loving Him and obeying His commands through:
- Public and corporate gathered worship;
- The ordinary means of grace;
- Bible teaching and discipleship;
- Evangelism in preaching, personal acts of verbal witness, and acts of mercy;
- Participation in local, domestic, and international missions;
- Administration of the two Ordinances of Baptism and Holy Communion;
- Fellowship within the body;
- Cooperative work with other like-minded churches;
- Service to other individuals, families, and churches to care for physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in the name of Jesus Christ;
In all things, this church shall seek to glorify God by fulfilling the greatest commandments of loving Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind, and our neighbor as our self.

Leadership
Elder – Pastor/Teacher Austin Colley
A graduate of Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Ga and of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. Austin has known the call to ministry in his life since 2016 and was ordained in February of 2023. With experience in pulpit supply ministry, youth pastoring, and leading in the church; he has professed that preaching and teaching is a part of his calling from the Lord. His joy in life comes from serving the Lord daily and being married to his bride, Olivia.
Mountainview Community Church
